What Causes Heavy Chest With Fatigue During Hashimotos Disease?

I have hashimotos and have been fairly successful in controlling it on a gluten free diet, excercise and .25 mcg synthroid. Lately i have had a heavy chest, shortness of breathe, bp of 158/78 when my normal is 96/64. I have been dizzy, weak and fatigued. It seems to be worse around my period. Any ideas would really be appreciated. Thanks,Susan

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Welcome and thank you for asking.
I read your concern carefully and understood your query.
Your symptoms are not related to hypothyroidism, high blood pressure and difficulty in breathing are two serious indicators that should be evaluated by a physician in person.
Until you see the doctor i would suggest to check the blood pressure twice a day and record the results.
You should check the TSH too if it is more than 6 months from the last control.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
