Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So my girlfriend had sex and lost her virginity and after she had sex she bleed for like 3 days and than stopped.but than her period was coming and she said that her periods are usually heavy but like two days later from when the bleeding was over she bleed again but very little is that normal?
Changes in monthly bleeding are normal. However in case of your girlfriend we should exclude pregnancy if there was intra-vaginal ejaculation. Wait for the next monthly bleeding, if still light or missing, then take a pregnancy test.
With regard to bleeding after losing virginity, that is normal in some girls, while in others there is only light spotting.
Hope that answers your question. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
All the best.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
