What Causes Heavy Bleeding Post Absence Of Periods For A Year?

Hi: ) I just spoke with my gyn but she hung up so fast and didnt ask if I had any questions. I have had no menstration for a year and recently had 5 days of bleeding. Gyn examined and sent me for ultrasound which revealed 2 small fibroids - 1.4 and 1.8 centemeters, which she said would not be cause of bleeding due to size and location. She s doing a biopsy - What besides cancer could it be? I think I ve had yeast infections off and on a couple of times that have gone away on their own. Saw something about that possibly causing bleeding? Thank you for anything you can explain and hope you can offer!: )

Hi,
Thanks for your question.
I do understand your pain and discomfort.
As per your history is concerned please follow my advise-:
1)Correct vitamin B-12 by taking injection 4 times per weekly upto one month then once a month
2)Correct iron deficit by taking iron sucrose injection in 100 ml saline two times per week
3)Check your sugar and TSH level
4)As you have already done USG i request you to do once in vaginal
5)Do CBC with differential
[Treatment-Laparoscopic ]
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to follow me.
