What Causes Heaviness In Right Leg While Suffering From Multiple Sclerosis?

I have MS. My right leg is starting to drag . I can barely lift it to walk. My toes are not getting good exercise. My right leg is becoming draggy. What exercises can I do to help strengthen my leg and toes? Does riding my exercise bike help.or hinder my progress?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic
Regarding your experience with dragging your right leg following a diagnosed multiple sclerosis I am suggesting strongly that you have developed a peripheral neuropathy to rule out mononeuritis and Myopathy

In view of this please do the following test
Head and neck x-ray
MRI
SERUM thiamine level
Serum electrolytes
Serum creatine kinase

Meanwhile please schedule a appointment with a neurologist specialist with the results and for further clinical evaluation as well as adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps
