What Causes Heaviness In Left Foot?
I am a 76 year old woman in good health generally. I am not overweight. I don t smoke. For the past month, on an intermittent basis, while standing or walking on my left foot, it becomes heavy..it feels like I am dragging it. My b.p. Is good. What might be the cause of my heavy foot? YYYY@YYYY

After reading your actual situation, and taking in count your age and given information, this is the analysis:
If there are not comorbilities, like cardiovascular, renal, or hepatic troubles, diabetes or hypertension, you should evaluate your leg and veins actual situation.
Do you notice your veins (in legs) more than before?
Are you feeling pain, and heavy at the same time?
Do you have family background varicose veins trouble?
If this answers are positives, probably you have varicose vein trouble, which causes, pain, heavy legs sensations and other complications as ulcers. The causes are variable, but the principal problem is an insufficiency of veins valves, which makes backflow of blood, and accumulation in the lower limbs.
