Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I experienced a slight heat in chest while Im about to sleep last night. I figured its just the effects of the heatwave we are experiencing. I just turned on the air conditioning and ignored the heat and went to sleep. What could have been the problem?
I understand your concerns. Heart burn after food is seen commonly due to acidity. I would recommend the following. 1. Eat non spicy food. 2. Include 3-4 portions of fresh fruits and vegetables. 3. Consume lots of water. 4. Reduce caffeine, chocolate, alcohol and smoking. 5. Include yogurt and more milk products in diet. 6. Start antacids like digene syrup before bedtime.
If your symptoms persist or Worsen kindly visit your doctor for further evaluation.
Hope I solved your doubts. Thank you. Wish you good health.
