my husband had 2 episodes of heart pounding today. once when he stood up to go to the bathroom. the second time when he was lifting something at work. didn t have any other symptoms, and it only lasted a few seconds. I want him to call his cardiologist.

hello,palpitations with change in position can be due to multiple causes. these can be the result of some medicines that he is taking .
he should get his ecg done first of all .if its nomal he should go for some other tests to know the exact cause of his palpitations
two important tests are thyroid function tests and urine vma .treamnt can be started on the base of tests reports
