Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My chest has start to beat faster when I stand up my heart start to race even more when I get into a argument and it never felt that way before I notice my heart starting to pound more that paying attention to the argument I always feel tired more often
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Sudden onset racing heart, tiredness, pounding heart etc occurs usually in anxiety. Your symptoms are aggravating in conditions like argument with someone and this further confirms the diagnosis of anxiety. If these symptoms are causing significant distress to your functioning then consult a psychiatrist for help.
For anxiety and panic attacks like symptoms behaviour therapy and relaxation exercises have excellent roles. Progressive muscle relaxation exercise, yoga, meditation, breathing exercises can help to reduce your symptoms. If your symptoms persist even after that then medicines like SSRIs can help. Low dose benzodiazepines as Clonazepam, Lorazepam etc can help to reduce the symptoms in acute conditions. Visit a psychiatrist for help.
Thanks, Hope this helps you.
Take care
