What Causes Heart Palpitations After Using Prednisolone And Doxycycline?

Hi I have severe persistent atopic asthma and nerve damage around my lungs that reduce my baseline to around 19% lung function. I let an infection take hold and needed nebulising with 5ml Salbutamol this morning. I'm now on 40mg Prednisolone and doxycycline. I'm having palpitations for the first time in my life and have a horrible metallic taste. I'm 54
