What Causes Heart Palpitations After Drinking Strong Coffee?
About 2 months ago I started feeling very different. One morning I drank a different type of coffee that was really strong. Ever since then I have had a pounding heart beat that feels out of rythem. I am a 43 year old female that has never had any health issues. I am not over weight and I have had my blood pressure and pulse checked and it is normal. I recently got married and my job has become more stressful. This feeling never goes away totally. Sometimes it is worse that others. I sometimes have a tingleing in my scalp and shortness of breath. Can you tell me what is wrong with me?
Hai, usually coffee contains caffeine. caffeine stimulates the receptors within your heart to beat faster.because of increase in heart beat you feel like palpitation. tingling in scalp and shortness of breath occurs physiologically too. if your complaint constantly occurs kindly visit your physician so further evaluation Regards Dr.SSenthilnathan.
