What Causes Hearing Loss Due To Baby Oil?
I went to the doctor and he told me I needed to get the wax out of my ears and told me to use baby oil and then after it moved to squeeze it out with one of the baby ear syringes. I use the baby oil yesterday for around the 4th time, and I immediately lost hearing in my ear and I figured it was just moving through the stuff but it never got better. I tired that candle.. and used the syringe and nothing. and I still can't hear out of it today. I don't know what to do or whats going on.

Hi, loss of hearing after using oil in the ear is usually due to the swollen wax impacting and blocking the external auditory canal completely and thus causing hearing loss. Please use a wax solvent drop for few days if the wax is hard, otherwise it can simply be removed with a wax hook or syringing. But I suggest both these procedures to be performed by a trained person, may be an ENT. Regards
