What Causes Hearing Impairment After Cleaning The Ears?

Everynight I can hear my heartbeat in my left ear, and when I bend over I feel like I have water in my ears, I went to an ear nose throat DR. and He cleaned out my ears from wax blockage but said he could see no fluids. Whats going on its driving me crazy??

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have hearing impairment after cleaning the ears . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query but in your case the symptoms are due to rupture of ear drum due to excess pressure by q tip . In some cases people experiencing temporary hearing loss , but it can be permanent if the damage is severe . Usually doctor prescribe antibiotics to prevent infection , but in severe cases doctor may recommend patching or tympanoplasty . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist doctor may order CT scan or examine with otoscope and treat it accordingly . For now apply dry warm compresses to external ear and keep your ear dry . Cover your ear while bathing .
