What Causes Headaches, Sinus Infection And Numbness On The Face?

I ve been suffering with headaches/ migraines for years and seem to worsen. Tried different pain mess as well as preventative mess. For the last two months also had sinus infections, numbness/ tingling in face and swelling on left side of face. What could be cause of this?

Hi,

Noted your history about having headache, migraine, taking preventive medicines but now started with sinus infection, numbness and tingling in along with swelling of face on left side.
Sinusitis can be the commonest cause as known with the history you have provided.
This can be diagnosed by CT scan of nose and sinuses to ascertain the cause and get the proper and relevant tests of blood including that for diabetes, allergy and so on.
Consult an ENT Surgeon for proper clinical examination and correlate with the reports.
Medical or surgical treatment as the cause may be will help solve in problem.
Till then avoid allergens.
Avoid too hot and too cold places, foods and beverages.
Control of stress and anxiety help a lot for migraine also.
Get an opinion of an Neurologist so that you can have proper diagnosis and management.
