What Causes Headaches Followed By Running Nose And Fever?

hie. i m 30 years old female. i am having cold cough n fever on and off since last 20-25 days. my tlc count has come 13100. lymphocyte as 19, PCV as 29.2 n MCV as 55.6 MCH as 19.6. what could be the reason , disease and remedy. whenever i have a headache i havae a runny nose and after an hour fever.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of headaches followed by running nose and fever. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to viral infection that has spread from upper respiratory tract to ear through eustachian tube , which occur sometimes due to low immunity or untreated upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. For now do warm saline gargles , apply dry warm compresses to external ear and drink hot green tea twice. As you trying Zpak and that is not affection you. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order throat swab test, blood test, and examination of ear with otoscope. Doctor may prescribe antiviral like acyclovir or antibacterial along with decongestant and expectorant .
