What Causes Headaches Followed By Floaters In The Eyes?

I have times when I will get a headache, followed by blind spots or floaters in the eyes. Sometimes after that, if I look at an object, know what is but can’t say the word for it. In 15 minutes I’m back to normal. Sometimes I go 6 months before it happens again.
