If the blood pressure is 140/100 (140 over 100), it means that the systolic pressure is 140 and the diastolic pressure is 100.
Optimal blood pressure Normal blood pressure High-normal blood pressure 130e139 85e89
Grade 1 hypertension (mild) 140e159 90e99.
Now you are in grade I hypertension position.
Simply put, uncontrolled high blood pressure (HBP) can injure or kill you. Also known as ‘the silent killer’, high BP has no symptoms, making it very difficult to gauge how severely the condition is damaging your arteries, heart and other organs. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to:
Heart attacks or stroke,Aneurysm,Heart failure,Weakened and narrowed blood vessels in your kidneys,Thickened, narrowed or torn blood vessels in the eyes,Trouble with memory or understanding,Sex life.
Any part of your neck - muscles, bones, joints, tendons, ligaments, or nerves - can cause neck problems. Neck pain is very common. Pain may also come from your shoulder, jaw, head, or upper arms.
Treatment depends on the cause, but may include applying ice, taking pain relievers, getting physical therapy or wearing a cervical collar. You rarely need surgery.
