What Causes Headaches And Shortness Of Breath After Withdrawing From Venlafaxine?
I was told I am experiencing withdrawals symptoms from where I ran out of my venlafaxin of 150 mg in am and 75 mg in pm. Headaches off n on and like electrical zaps in head, plus head feels like I stopped up stuffy. Always been short of breath for years. Just got back on my Victoza after off for a couple days. Lots of things at one time. Said free??
The symptoms you mentioned are definitely of withdrawal from Venlafaxine. You have not mentioned why Venlafaxine was started for you. Did your treating psychiatrist told you to stop it or you yourself stopped it? Now you have again started taking it, then I would recommend to continue it.
Venlafaxine is usually given for depression or anxiety disorder which requires very long treatment. So don’t reduce or stop it without consulting your psychiatrist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
