What Causes Headaches And Pain In Right Eye While Taking Claritin?

Been taking Claritin for 3day. about the same time I have had terrible headaches over my right eye. Ideas? Rhbfreckles Been taking Claritin for 3 days, have developed terrible headaches a few hours later over my right eye. What do you think?

1. claritin [loratidine] is an antihistamine medicine which is mainly given in allergic conditions and headache is one of the less serious side effect of the drug but if you find this unusual call your doctor immediately.

PS. effect of claritin on Central and Peripheral Nervous System is . blepharospasm, dizziness, dysphonia, hypertonia, migraine, paresthesia, tremor, vertigo.

2. You may ask for other alternatives with headache with less side effect like: clemastine, terfenadine.
