What Causes Headaches And Eye Pain?

Hello I am 32 years old for a little over a week now I have been having bad headache so bad it makes my eyes hurt. Then all I can do is lay down because any light will make it hurt even more. I check my blood pressure & it was 165 over 120 and I m not really understanding the lower number. Can u please help me understand the reading of my blood pressure or why this is going on just about everyday?

Hello,

Your blood pressure seems to be high, especially the second value (the diastolic blood pressure) being 120 mmHg is something that needs medical attention.
You will need to confirm the values by having a check with your doctor. If the values are high than you do have high blood pressure and you will need to be treated appropriately for it.

There are rare cases that headache and blood pressure can be related like in pheochromocytoma, so your doctor might need to do the some blood and urine tests to rule this out.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
