What Causes Headaches And Extreme Fatigue Post Withdrawal From Marvelon?
Hi there, I am type 1 diabetic and have been for over 10 years. I have just stopped the birth control pill Marvelon that I have been on for over 7 years because of my extreme PMS and depression during menstruation. I have great control of my blood sugars. My last A1C was 5.7. Since I have stopped the pill my blood sugars are low and I am always feeling agitated, headaches, extreme fatigue and incredibly frustrated. Can this be linked to stopping the pill and are there any solutions besides checking my blood sugar every hour it seems. Thx
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your experience of headaches agitation extreme fatigue following your stoppage of your marvelon pills is really the reason behind you developing this symptoms Marvelon have a feature of raising the blood sugar level so stopping it has caused you a hypoglycemia In view of this you will need a personal glucometer to regularly check your sugar level I hope this helps
