Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

A person may fulfill the criteria for having suffered a blow to the head forceful enough to cause symptoms of headache and their consequences you mention without necessarily having suffered a CONCUSSION or TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY....though this is rare. Write to me at: www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi with further questions---If you did in fact, suffer a lapse of consciousness of some sort such as period of confusion or being dazed for more than just a few seconds from the time of the impact and your "confusion" as you put it is not in the context of your headaches then, I might suggest you have a discussion with your doctor and request an explanation of what he was looking for when stating there was no "evidence" for a 2nd concussion and if necessary ask to be seen by an expert in brain trauma such as a neurologist or TBI specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
