What Causes Headaches Along With Dizziness And Blurred Vision?

Hi! I just wanted to ask, I m worried I may have something wrong with me? I get really bad head aches really often, sometimes so bad that all I can do is lay on my floor with the lights off and try to sleep. I also occasionally have these dizzy spells, where I ll stand up from laying down or sitting and my vision will kind of fuzz out (imagine tv snow) and I ll have to search about (though I m not sure if that could be attributed to poor diet). My pupils are always really dilated, but I do wear glasses. I don t want to talk to my family about them, and I have no money. I would appreciate your opinion.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Migraines can cause severe headaches that are worse with light. These headaches can potentially last for days at a time.

This is the most common cause for severe prolonged headaches, it can also be associated with dizziness as well.

It would be best to discuss the headaches with your doctor to determine the cause.
This may only require a careful history and examination, investigations may not be needed.

Migraines are treated with pain medication. If there is no response to normal pain medications then you may need migraine specific pain meds (if migraines confirmed)

There are also medications to stop the headaches from occurring if they occur very often.

These are prescription medications.

I hope this helps
