What Causes Headache With Pain Near The Ear And Back Of The Neck?
Hi, i have had a headache for 6 days. From day 1, the pain was near my right ear, day 2, low under my ear, day 3 near the back neck, day 4 near the left ear. I mean the pain is expanding, now i feel pain in all the areas i mentioned. Beside headache, i dont have any other symptoms like vomitting, blurry vision, etc. i am totally normal. I am a first time mother of a 2-month old daughter. I am nursing her. I am not under any other medical treatment. I am using ibuprofen 800 for pain relief because this medicine was prescibed by my midwife when i delivered. I think it also helps with headache so i am using it. Could you please tell me what kind of health problem i am suffering ? Thanh you very much

Your symptoms seem to be related to tension type headache, which is caused by psychological and physical stress.
Being a mother of a 2 month old daughter imposes a lot of physical and emotional stress, taking into consideration also the position during breastfeeding and the lack of good sleep.
I would recommend you to consult with your GP and perform a routine blood test for inflammation.
Ibuprofen is OK in this condition, but I would not recommend you to take it for a long time.
I would advise you to regulate your sleep regimen and avoid straining physical activity.
