What Causes Headache With Blurred Vision And Dizziness?
Asking for my mother in law She is having headaches which she says are not typical headaches she says they are sharp shooting pains in her head with blurred vision and dizziness and a new symptom today she is very fatigue and can barely stay awake. She went to the ER yesterday and they performed a CT Scan and they said nothing showed up but they didn t do it with contrast would that make a difference in showing up something? I know something is not right with her!!! Thanks for your input!!
Hello dear, Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com. Your mother in law is apparently having acute onset headache, with blurred vision, drowsiness and dizziness. This type of acute onset headache definitely needs evaluation. Please get examined by a neurologist for any focal neurological deficit and eye specialist for papilledema. If Non-contrast CT head is unrevealing,Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) Brain with contrast needs to be done to see for any secondary cause. It may also be a primary headache. Please visit a neurologist and get physically examined.I hope it helps.
