What Causes Headache While On Bactrim?
I am taking Bactrim for 3 weeks to rule out infection of my prostate( my PSA is elevated). I have a few days left. I do not normally get headaches, but I have gotten them the last 10 days or so. They are pretty strong about 5:00 A.M. and about noon. I have taken the edge off with extra strength tylenol and ibuprofin. Could this be a side effect of the Bactrim? Is it OK to complete the course of treatment? Thanks- Doug Austin YYYY@YYYY .

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the side effects of drug but in absence of infection taking antibiotic would be useless and better to confirm the infection first most of the time enlarge prostrate is the matter of concern without the infection, hope this information helps.
