Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Headache On The Right Side After A Myomectomy?
I had a myomectomy on Wednesday. Everything is fine now (it s Friday) and I am at home now. I have a slight headache over my right side of my head. Taking Tylenol is not helping. I m not nauseated and I have an appetite. I have a ventricular shunt for hydrocephalus. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I would advise you to take Ibuprofen 600 mg and Tylenol 500 mg every 6 hours together with the Ibuprofen after food. Try to rest and eat and drink well. If you notice the headache is not better or is getting any worse, it is best that you see your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
