What Causes Headache On Right Side Post Nasal Surgery To Remove Polyp?
Hello, Had nasal surgery 6 days ago to remove a polyp in my left nare. All went well, except that I have developed a persistent headach on the right side of my head. The headache is relentless and exedrine migraine, and aleve does not help. I saw my doctor today who examined me and said nothing he did would cause these headaches and told me it was stress. I am not under stress, except for this headache. Is this normal to have a headache centered on the opposite side of the polyp surgery? How long should I expect it to last? Thank you.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have right side hip pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cluster headache, migraine or tension headache . But in your case there can be chance of headache due to traumatic injury during surgery , which will go away gradually in few days . There can be other complications of surgery also like infection after surgery or nerve injury during injury . But if your ENT surgeon already rule out such complication then you should consult neurologist to check out for other above mention causes . Doctor may order CT scan or MRI to confirm the diagnosis and treatment . For now try to reduce your stress level and stay calm .
