What Causes Headache And Swollen Gland On One Side Of Neck?

I have chills, headache, and a slightly swollen gland on one side of my neck. I had an infection on my ear last week and not sure what it was. Could be herpes virus? Also have a slight UTI feeling. I had a kidney infection about 2 months ago...ecoli. I also feel terible.

Hi,

I am afraid your description is a little too vague. What do you mean you when you say you had an ear infection. Was the diagnosis confirmed by a doctor? Were you given any medication such as antibiotics?

If not then the headache and the swollen gland may perfectly be explained by the ear infection with a reactive enlarged lymph node. The ear must be checked and if necessary antibiotics might be given.

As for the UTI feeling, again it is a little vague, what symptoms are you experiencing precisely? Anyway a simple urine analysis would be necessary if there is that suspicion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
