What Causes Headache And Nausea While On Doxycycline?

I was taking doxycycline prescribed for a viral type illness that may have been bacterial. I have been ill for three weeks and am not improving. I have Crohn s disease. Could I be having a reaction from the doxycycline as I am displaying some of the side effects. Headache, nausea , stomach cramps.

I understand your concern.

The symptoms you are having: headache, nausea, stomach cramps could be related to :
- primary illness for which you have been prescribed doxycycline
- Crohn's flare up

If not related to these pathologies, we can say it's from doxycycline.
