What Causes Headache And Nausea After Taking Amoxicillin And Ondansetron?

Is here any negative drug reaction by taking amoxicillin along with ondanstron for nausea. I have the flu for the last five days and had lots of headache pain and nausea. Now it all in my lung and coughing hurts. I ve had part of my removed. Ow I m feeling upset and I took the amoxicillin around 5:00pm. Can I take the nausea drug now safely. Sorry this is so long.

Hi,

I'm sorry for the health problems you are going through. You had flu for the last five days with painful coughing lungs. I think you got pneumonia as you are also having nausea. Once infection will get totally eradicated, the nausea will get over too.

Now, you are taking only antibiotic (amoxicillin). I think you should add following drugs to your therapy:
- mucolytic to dissolve phlegm
- antihistamine to ease coughing

With regards to Ondansetron, yes, can take it safely now, no problem.
Drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated. Take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora from antibiotic use. Keep close consultation with your caring doctor.
