Hello, I m izzy. A couple of days ago I got an electric shock that made me jump and threw me back a little, ever since the accident I have had a bad headache and paracetamol won t make it go away. My mum also said I have been acting really strange and hyperactive. I m not sure what I should do and how to make it go away. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Electric shock of the intensity that you have felt may cause little inflammation or changes in the brain vessels or nerves. They should not be ignored as 2 days have passed and your are still having an headache.

I would advise you to visit a neurologist for physical examination and further investigations. You might need to go for CT scan and/or MRI to check the status of hard and soft tissues of the brain. Treatment or advise can be given after the test results.

I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your concern. I wish you feel better soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
