What Causes Headache Along With Nausea After An Insect Bite?

My 25 yr son pulled a tick out of his torso on a recent camping trip. He has been sick for 1 week with + Bullseye rash + head / neck ache + nausea + weakness + lethargy + High blood pressure + poor concentration. Went to the ER and also to Urgent care. No test for Lyme disease was done. Should there be ? Valley Fever ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It may be due to generalized body pain and myalgic response secondary to insect bite.

You can take analgesics like Acetaminophen for pain relief.

Nothing much to worry and you will be fine in couple of days.

If symptoms persist, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
