What Causes Head Throbbing After Climbing Stairs Or Laying Down?

Hello my head throbs often, mostly during afternoons and my head hurts after climbing up stairs, or laying down and then getting up and sometimes just randomly. It throbs really bad though when it does start to throb. i am 16 years old and I dont know why my head hurts so much and so often.

As per your complain you have problem of severe headache more in lying down position. That may be because of sinusitis problems. Lack of blood sugar level or dehydration also cause headache problem. Migraine lead to severe throbbing pain. Detailed history and physical examination give exact idea about problems. CT scan and MRI can be done for further diagnosis. Consult a neurologist for further diagnosis.
