What Causes Head Circumference To Be Big Or Small?

me and my sister both of us are pregnant.....35+weeks and 37+ weeks respectively...we are aged 24 & 22 respectively.....we both went for a 9th month scan where everything is normal except the head circumference......my baby s HC is 31.5 cm and for my sister it is 11.3 cm...could you plz tell me this in detail........is my baby s head big or her baby s head small..

Hi, your baby's head circumference is normal. In my opinion a repeat ultrasound of your sister should be done, i think the report is not correct or other reason could be that the doctor has written vertical and horizontal length. Nevertheless, i think your sister should have a repeat ultrasound. I hope this has helped you. Take care.
