What Causes Hardness And Bloating In The Stomach Of An Elderly Person?
My grandmother, 79, is on dialysis. Her stomach is hard and bloated. She has no insurance. The nurse at the dialysis center said it was caused by fluid accumulation. After dialysis, the condition persisted. She has no abdominal pain but is not eating at all. Could this be a serious condition?

It could be a gastritis.
As a first line management you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persists better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated
