What Causes Hard Stools With Pain During Bowels?
I have a problem of clear mucus, sometimes it will look like wet tobacco too.I can not go when I get these attacks which happen every 1 to 1 1/2 months. I had colon cancer in 10/10 and liver cancer in 5/11which they took out half of my liver and my galblader. I take a stool softner and an oxy podwer every morning and evening so I can have a bowl movement. When I do have a movement it is as flat as a pancake. I have called to have an appointment set up with a gasteroligest as I can no longer take this pain. Any suggestion?

Dear feeling sorry after hearing about your health condition. Possible causes of flat stools are like colonic polyps these may cause flat stools with chances of turning into malignancy. Also check for weather you have recurrence or not.
post gallbladder removal may develop post cholicystectomy syndrome may cause flat stools with pain abdomen.
Irritable bowel syndrome may cause flat stools with less pathological changes . Present mucous with flatus passing through stools.
Avoid spicy food and alcohol,use tab.librax 5mg twice a day, with tablet sporolac twice day for five days. avoid dairy products and peanuts.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
