hello, two days ago i started getting these hard red lumps on my chest, there are about 7 or 8 of them quite spread out around my chest, they are painfull if i touch them. and now i just noticed one lump on the side of my neck. im extremely worried, i have a feeling it could be hiv. im going to see a doctor later today but wanted to get some advice from this site aswell. thanks for your time and looking forward to the response.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have enlarged cervical lymphnode in your neck. It can be due to reactive hyperplasia, tuberculosis or lymphoma. In hiv reactive lymphnode and tuberculosis both are common. However it depends on your sexual history. If you have high risk sexual contact in past then thete is chance. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology of that lump and hiv testing. It will clear all doubts. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
