What Causes Hard Painful Lump On Back Oozing Pus?
Good day, my wife has had a lump on her back for a while now. looked and felt like a marble under the skin. A couple of days ago it seems to have ruptured or something because now the surrounding area is hard and very tender to touch and a smelly puss shoots out when squeezed.

This could be a furuncle or pus filled lesion. It needs antibiotics. Apply Fucidin ointment to it. Take Tablet Cefotaxime 200mg twice a day for 5 days. Apply ice to it daily.
