What Causes Hard Lump On The Head During Pregnancy?

Hello, I m 17 weeks pregnant and noticed a long bump on my head. The bump is hard and stationary. It is about an inch long and an inch wide. The bump has no color and it painless, although now that I have noticed it and touched it, it feels a bit tender. It is located about an inch above my ear and an inch below the center of my head. I went to the doctor today, and they pretty much said that if it is still there in 2 days that they want to do an xray. I m not going to do that since I don t want to put my baby in any kind of risk. Do you have any ideas as to what this is to ease my mind? I m nervous that it is going to either harm me or have to put my baby at risk.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in my opinion such lesion of course need to be investigated for to rule out abscess and other lesion till then no need to treat it, but most of the time this could be lymph node with no specific disease and this is nothing to worry still better to investigate it, take care and have a nice day.
