What Causes Hard Heartbeats With Difficulty To Breath?

I am a 57 year old female who is weights 216 lb. I am only 5'4". Yesterday I had to walk about the lenght of a football field and by the time I got there my heart was beating so hard I could actually see my chest moving. I could not breathe and actually wondered if I was going to have a heart attack. I work full time and stand for 8 hrs a day so I'm not exactly a couch potatoe but get little exercise beside working. What are your thoughts

Hi There

After reading your query I would like to tell you that working full time in routine is not considered as an exercise. You are active but you don't work out that the reason why your heart raced when you walked quite a length because it's not your routine and your body is not acclimatised to it.
So my advise is to start a morning walk daily for 45 mins a day for 5 days a week. Avoid junk food and smoking ( if you do ), eat lots of fruits and vegetables and you will be fine.

I wish you good health
