DEAR FRIEND
THE HARD BONY BUMP BELOW YOUR KNEECAP IS CALLED TIBIAL TUBEROSITY IT'S AN ANATOMICAL LANDMARK.
IT PROVIDES THE POINT OF ATTACHMENT TO INFERIOR PATELLAR LIGAMENT
WHICH IS A PART OF THE LARGE MUSCLE OF THE THIGH CALLED QUADRICEPS FEMORIS.

AT TIMES THE LIGAMENT MAY GET A BIT INFLAMED DUE TO INJURY OR OVER USE CAN BE TREATED WITH COLD COMPRESS AND ANALGESICS
HOPE THIS CLARIFIES YOUR DOUBT
PLEASE DO NOT MIND THE CAPS MY KEYBOARD IS MISBEHAVING
