What Causes Hands To Turn Bright Red When In Contact With Hot Water?

Thank you.........I notice when I get into the bathtub, with hot water, the palms of my hands and soles of my feet turn bright red. There is no pain. This happens if I m washing dishes, and the palms of my hands turn bright red. The redness fades after leaving a bathtub or finishing the dishes. I ve never noticed this before. My hepatic screen is WNL. Have not been diagnosed with any circulatory impairments. I do have, however, osteoarthritis. Any suggestions? I m an adult female, and 66 years of age. I do not have any mobility issues, and still drive a standard 5 speed stick transmission, with a clutch! Thank you. I didn t know there was a cost for this...I do not put credit cards online.......so never mind.....

Hi . Don't worry. You are having a normal physiological response to high tempreatures. The blood capillaries dilate, and circulation increases due to warm tempreature that gives redness to skin. It is more apparent in fair colored skin. However, you may take some anti allergic just in case you are allergic to some ingredient of detergents....just check on it.
