What Causes Hand Tremors And Excessive Sweating Before Eating?

Hi, I am finding that when It is getting close to time for a meal I start getting shaky. Today, it was about 3 1/2 hours after a bowl of cereal and a banana. I was sitting waiting for my lunch, I was getting shaky hands. Within 5 minutes my hands were very shaky and I was sweating quite a bit. I got a roll and ate that but it did not help. I ate about 1/2 of my salad with pecans and chicken before I felt better. I have a stress test on Thursday and cannot eat. I am concerned about that and the fact that I am getting shaky more and faster than usual. Thank you for any help. Cindy

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to hypoglycemia. For that you may require fasting and postprandial sugar levels after physician consultation. You may require anti diabetic medications dosage adjustment. Take balanced diet regularly. Take medication just before food. Avoid strenuous activity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale
