What Causes Hair Loss While On Xolair For Asthma?

I am taking Xolair every other week for uncontrollable asthma. I recently seen on one of my insurance claims a charge for a injection of Chemo Anti-neopl Sq/im. Does Xolair have any chemo drug in it? I am losing my hair and this may be the answer to this. I am also a Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Double ZZ allele patient and taking Prolastin C on a weekly basis infusion.

Xolair does not have chemotherapy in it in the sense of a cancer treatment. Xolair is an artificial antibody that inhibits your allergic response. It can however cause alopecia as a side effect in about 2% of patients.
