Hello, As per my clinical experience, many of the pregnant women face issue of hemorrhoids development from the: - Pelvic congestion via developing baby - Constipation during intra-partum period - Excess straining during labor or else Over and above the measure of fiber intake, following points of care will help you as: - Plenty of liquids - Bulk forming laxative as Bran, Psyllium or Methylcellulose - Local application of Xylocaine (5%) jelly - Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water 5 minutes each twice a day, additionally after passing stool) - Avoid anal sex (if applicable).
