What Causes Gurgling Sensation In Stomach?
Hi always had problems with my stomach a popping sensation ive had for years which doctors say is normal? Also loads of gurgling noises and abdominal pain. But recently ive been getting a needle prick sensation at the bottom of my stomach any ideas why?

I understand your concern.
Actually gurgling in stomach is supposed to be normal. It indicates intestinal activity. mostly due to passage of food through stomach while it is being churned & pressed by stomach muscles down the gut for further digestion.
Normally it can not be heard but sometimes strong hunger contractions, but sometimes undigested food causing gas formation -It may be heard by the person in vicinity too.
* but in case like yours when it is associated with pain-- it needs care.It can happen due to various causes like
- Intestinal infection & inflammation,
- Food allergies ( Gluten/ lactose), digestive deficiencies,
- chemical irritation of stomach like by consumption of alcohol,
-associated with diarrhea - irritable bowel syndrome,
- Psychological stress,
All of these cause excessive gas formation,distension of stomach & pain.
To find the exact cause you need investigations ranging from stool routine examination,culture & sensitivity & other specific tests as per need after consulting a gastroenterologist.
