What Causes Gums Swollen With Ulcers Having Tonsillitis?
Hello, my boyfriend has recently been to the doctors with flu like symptoms & sickness, they diagnosed him with tonsilitis but we have noticed also that him gums are swollen with ulcers on above his teeth & it hurts him to chew. Is this relate to tonsilitis?

I have read your query as far as swollen gum is concerned with ulcer after flu symptoms this can Viral stomatitis . For this I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and evaluation . Inmeantime you can take medicine like Acivir by consulting with local doctor . You can apply ointment like Healplus or Acyclovir on gums ,.
