My son is 2 1/2 years old he is on antibiotic and a allergy meds for a upper resp infection a week on Monday today he was out playing now his eyes are mating from green stuff coming from his eyes I keep trying to keep it cleaned out is there anything else I can do or do I need to take him to the doc again?
Hello there, A greenish discharge from the eye may indicate an eye infection. it would be advisable to take him to an ophthalmologist(eye doctor). At his age there is a set of organisms producing greenish discharge that are difficult to remove easily. Gentamicin eyedrops every 1 hour can be used for the time being but you have to take him to a doctor and get his eye examined,
Hope this helps, Please feel free to address any further queries to me,
