General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there,
A greenish discharge from the eye may indicate an eye infection. it would be advisable to take him to an ophthalmologist(eye doctor). At his age there is a set of organisms producing greenish discharge that are difficult to remove easily. Gentamicin eyedrops every 1 hour can be used for the time being but you have to take him to a doctor and get his eye examined,

Hope this helps,
Please feel free to address any further queries to me,
