Hello I live in Canada and my 64 year old father is down in the States. He has been incredibly sick. Throwing up and not able to sleep( i think because he put his back out from throwing up so much) for the past week he is now feeling better and able to eat, it seems he has done a good job of keeping himself hydrated. The upside is that he hasn't smoked.

I thought he was continuing to feel better this week but i just spoke iwth him and yesterday he had another throwing up session and he was throwing up green . he called the doctor but didn't go in because he couldn't get steps away fromt eh bathroom and ha d no one to take him in. He won't go to the hospital " because it all is over now" which I guess means he stoped throwing up green stuff.

can you please give me an idea of what this could be so I can hopefully reframe the importance of seeing a doctor, if of course you think he should. My dad is coming back home on june 1st and I think he is waiting it out until then. thank you
