What Causes Green Stool?

Hi, I have had green stool for three days in a row now. Had been on business trip, lots of stress etc, eaten nothing greeny just had too little food. No diarrhoea or pain. The colour is dark green. Should I go for a check up? Or is nothing to worry about? Thank you. YYYY@YYYY

Green stool is a common stool color change. It may be due to bile pigment in the stool because increased peristalsis(due to anxiety) moves food too quickly thorough the intestine so the bile can't break down,
thoughthe green color may be due to certain foods like green, leafy vegetables or green food coloring but you have not eaten any such thing.
Few tests suggested are ultrasound abdomen
serum bilirubin
stool test for bile pigments.
thanks!
